SanDisk have a storied history, producing the first ever “SSD” in 1991 and having a long-lived joint venture with Toshiba producing flash memory. SanDisk’s Cruzer Blade eschews sliders or caps, instead being made from solid plastic – even the connector, which the body flows smoothly into. A red plastic slider allows retraction of the plug, and there’s a loop for a lanyard.
